Advanced Open Water Diver
Why it’s ideal: Many offshore wrecks and fossil sites are deeper than 60 feet.

Deep Diver Specialty
Why it’s ideal: Most offshore dive sites in NC are 85–120 ft deep.

Nitrox (EANx) Certification

What You’ll Learn: Spearfishing techniques for both freedivers and scuba divers. Understand local fish species like flounder, hogfish and lionfish and know the regulations before you hunt.
