THIS CHARTER IS IDEAL FOR: A hunting experience designed for advanced divers with an Enriched Air certification. You're welcome to bring your own gear, but don't fret if you don't have the proper hunting tools for this unique trip. We have everything that you will need available for rent; high-quality underwater slings, pole spears, lionfish collection tubes, gloves, etc. LOCATIONS: Sites located more than 15 miles from inlet DEPTHS: 105 - 130 feet NUMBER OF DIVES: 3 MAX. NUMBER OF GUESTS: 6 PRICE PER PERSON: Charter only, no tanks: $280pp Charter with three steel cylinders of EANx: $340pp ENJOY THE THRILL OF THE CHASE: Over three dives, you'll have ample opportunities to spear these disruptive predators at our favorite hunting grounds while exploring stunning dive sites. PREREQUISITES: - Advanced Open Water Certification or equivalent - Enriched Air Certification for diving with Nitrox* - We prefer that all divers that are joining us on spearfishing adventures to have proper training in spearfishing or have a spearfishing history. This is for safety purposes and to ensure a successful hunt. *If you are not EANx trained, we do offer this course at a discount if taken in conjunction with a charter. You are required to perform all of your eLearning prior to the trip, however, class instruction will be performed onboard during your boatride out to your diving destinations. Please reach out to us for more information. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Lionfish are a VENOMOUS fish and if you are stung, the venom sends an immense pain that is trying to reach your heart. While we do carry rescue materials to treat a lionfish sting, we advise all lionfish hunters to hunt with EXTREME caution. Hunt at your own risk. INSTRUCTIONS: - All dives are drift dives - no anchor lines - Carry an SMB + reel for safe, visible ascents - Monitor your NDLs and air pressure throughout each dive FISH RULES APP: We highly recommend downloading and checking the Fish Rules app before we set off, so you’re fully prepared and informed about the day’s regulations. NO SPEARFISHING LICENSE REQUIRED: With Instigator, you don’t need your own fishing license, our vessel’s permit covers you.
