THIS CHARTER IS IDEAL FOR: For seasoned freedivers, our offshore freedive spearfishing adventures present an extraordinary challenge with hunting grounds between 200 and 2,000 feet. Utilizing innovative techniques such as surface flashers tossed back and forth, you can enhance your chances of attracting majestic fish close enough for an unforgettable encounter. AVAILABILITY: Seasonal, based on the time of year specific species are migrating through our waters. LOCATIONS: Sites located more than 15 miles from the inlet DEPTHS: 200 - 2000 feet MAX. NUMBER OF GUESTS: 4 PRICE PER PERSON! GULF STREAM LOCATIONS: Your freedive spearfishing locations, such as the iconic Big Rock, scallop beds, Swansboro Hole and other active fishing spots, are selected based on up-to-date intel from our extensive network within the fishing community. This ensures that you're diving into the most promising spearfishing areas, maximizing your chances of success. CUSTOMIZED FREEDIVING ADVENTURES: Our offshore trips cater for different skill levels and interests. This ensures seasoned freedivers can expect dives that suit their abilities and goals. THE BEST LOCATIONS: Our spearfishing spots for the day are selected based on up-to-date data from our extensive network. INSTRUCTIONS: We advise our hunters to hunt with EXTREME caution. Hunt at your own risk. ONLY fish within legal sizes and harvest season may be harvested. DETAILED INFORMATION: Our crew will provide you with a safety briefing and valuable knowledge for each site. FISH RULES APP: We highly recommend downloading and checking the Fish Rules app before we set off, so you’re fully prepared and informed about the day’s regulations. NO SPEARFISHING LICENSE REQUIRED: With Instigator, you don’t need your own fishing license. Whether you’re spearfishing or fishing, our vessel’s permit covers you. This is especially convenient for our out-of-state and international guests, saving you the cost and hassle of purchasing a separate license.

Get confirmed: We’ll contact you quickly to finalize the details and secure your spot. To secure your preferred date, you may pay in full at the time of booking or reserve with a valid credit card. We strongly recommend booking early - especially during peak season and around holidays - as availability fills up quickly. Important: We do not accept online bookings at this time. CANCELLATION POLICY You may cancel or reschedule your charter free of charge up to 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED DEPARTURE. Cancellations made within 7 days of departure will result in a full charge, and no refund will be issued. NO-SHOWS or failure to arrive on time will also result in full forfeiture of any refund. If you rented gear for your charter, you will be charged a restocking fee of $25.00 in addition to your charter charge. REFUND POLICY If WE cancel the charter due to weather, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a FULL REFUND or have the option to RESCHEDULE at no additional cost. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. RESCHEDE POLICY If you need to reschedule your trip (outside the 7-day window), we’ll gladly assist you in finding another available date that works for you.
