EXPERIENCE EPIC SPEARFISHING ADVENTURES: With freediving sites ranging between 45 and 70 feet, these trips are suitable for those practicing their breath-holding techniques and hunting skills on shallow wrecks and ledges, tailored to the species you're most interested in. We will charter you to destinations known to be prolific in species of fish that you are looking to hunt while NOT on scuba. We cater specifically for small groups with four divers per trip. THIS CHARTER IS IDEAL FOR: Our inshore freedive spearfishing trips are suitable for beginners. These shallow waters offer a safe and controlled environment for new freedivers to build confidence and skills under our experienced crew's guidance. These inshore excursions target species like grouper, sheepshead, triggerfish, tautog, mackerel, cobia, and snapper - provided the fish are in season. AVAILABILITY: Seasonal, based on the time of year specific species are migrating through our waters. LOCATIONS: Max. 15 miles from inlet DEPTHS INSHORE: 45 - 70 feet MAX. THE BEST LOCATIONS: Our chosen spearfishing spots for the day are selected based on up-to-date data from our extensive network within the fishing community. INSTRUCTIONS: We advise our hunters to hunt with EXTREME caution. Hunt at your own risk. ONLY fish within legal sizes and harvest season may be harvested. DETAILED INFORMATION: Our crew will provide you with a safety briefing and valuable knowledge for each site. FISH RULES APP: We highly recommend downloading and checking the Fish Rules app before we set off, so you’re fully prepared and informed about the day’s regulations. NO SPEARFISHING LICENSE REQUIRED: With Instigator, you don’t need your own fishing license. Whether you’re spearfishing or fishing, our vessel’s permit covers you. This is especially convenient for our out-of-state and international guests, saving you the cost and hassle of purchasing a separate license. Instigator offers scuba spearfishing courses for anyone eager to explore the thrilling blend of scuba diving and hunting.

Get confirmed: We’ll contact you quickly to finalize the details and secure your spot. To secure your preferred date, you may pay in full at the time of booking or reserve with a valid credit card. We strongly recommend booking early - especially during peak season and around holidays - as availability fills up quickly. Important: We do not accept online bookings at this time. CANCELLATION POLICY You may cancel or reschedule your charter free of charge up to 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED DEPARTURE. Cancellations made within 7 days of departure will result in a full charge, and no refund will be issued. NO-SHOWS or failure to arrive on time will also result in full forfeiture of any refund. If you rented gear for your charter, you will be charged a restocking fee of $25.00 in addition to your charter charge. REFUND POLICY If WE cancel the charter due to weather, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a FULL REFUND or have the option to RESCHEDULE at no additional cost. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. RESCHEDE POLICY If you need to reschedule your trip (outside the 7-day window), we’ll gladly assist you in finding another available date that works for you.
